Fundamental Flow

Geared towards beginners and any student looking to explore the fundamentals.   Modifications are taught and adjustments are provided to individualize the practice for each student. This class provides the foundational tools to build a lifelong yoga practice.  Appropriate for all levels.  Classes are not heated.

Lori found her yoga practice approximately 7 years ago. It quickly became a passion for her, practicing every day. She completed her RYT200 Hour Teacher Training through Yoga on High in 2014 and started teaching right away. Lori eventually found her home teaching and managing the New Albany location of GoYoga. Recently, Lori completed an Integrative Teacher Training with a focus on Yin and Relax and Restore yoga.

Lori’s mission is to share the life-changing practice of yoga with students in search of self-discovery, transformation, and personal growth. Yoga has inspired her to process, transform and be more fully present to life experiences on and off the mat.

“I teach what I practice!  Leaving my students with the desire to come back to their mat and develop a deeper understanding of themselves through the connection of mind body and spirit. Yoga is exercise for the mind.”

Lisa began her yoga practice out of a desire to manage stress and anxiety. After more than a year as a student, she felt a calling to share her love of the practice and enrolled in yoga teacher training. Lisa earned her RYT200 certification through greenmonkey studios in 2016 and is registered with the Yoga Alliance.

Lisa connects deeply with an Albert Einstein quote – “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” – so she approaches her classes with a light heart and open mind, and encourages her students to experience life from a new perspective – on and off the mat.

“I teach the class I want to take – I love to leave my students feeling like they get a great physical workout, coupled with an opportunity to look within. I bring my authentic self to the mat with the intention of allowing my students to do the same.”
