A Florida native, Ashley made her way to Toledo via Chicago. Her yoga journey began when she was a teenager and she took a few classes here and there. Ashley then practiced off and on until 2015 when she discovered yoga helped ease not only years of back pain, but her anxiety and stress as well. The more she practiced, the better she felt and Ashley knew she didn’t want this feeling to go away. After practicing regularly for a year, Ashley found out about the 200 hour yoga teacher training at Yoga For All Beings in Chicago, her local studio. It was as if the stars aligned as the training fit perfectly into her full-time schedule and everything began falling into place. Ashley received her RYT-200 from Yoga For All Beings in 2018 as she made the transition to Toledo.Upon moving to Toledo, Ashley found Toledo Yoga and instantly felt at home in the welcoming community. She’s looking forward to getting to know all of the students, both on and off the mat. Ashley loves how practicing yoga teaches her to truly be present – a mantra she tries to live by each day – and hopes to instill this state of being in each of her classes.Ashley has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida with a background in health communications and social media. In her spare time, she creates content for her blog, The Petite Chronicles, and enjoys spending time with her soon-to-be husband and puppy, as well exploring her new hometown.
